6 Things We All Did At Least Once In Our School Lives

We all did things that we were proud of in school. However, most of our memories are around bunking and ink pens. We all loved our school days and there’s a bit of nostalgia within each and every one of us. We loved it and wish we could go back every day. If only, there was a time machine to do so. But we can go down memory lane and have a good time enjoying these memories.

#1 Chup-chup ke khaana

We all had some food hidden in our pockets or inside our desks. Guess who got to eat most of it? Your friends. Even though you were the one to bring it in the first place, your friends would eat most of it. It was literally gone within minutes. There was always this one time when a dumb kid would crack open something smelly and the teacher would come to know!

#2 MASS BUNK!!

This had to be carefully orchestrated. Otherwise, we would get into a lot of trouble. But seriously, there was no logic behind it. It was as if we would not get in trouble the next day. Only the scholars would be the ones to show up, and 90% would have gone to a movie or something. Seriously, those were the good ol’days. Now everything’s too egoistic and arrogant. Even the teachers are snobbish.

#3 Faking parent’s signature

This was when we had to get out report card signed by our parents. Of course we didn’t get 99%, so we were expecting a shouting from our parents anyways. Why do that? We can easily fake it. All we had to do was to find a piece of paper that had our parent’s signature on it, and we could try to copy paste it. Of course, it looked like a crappy imitation but sometimes it got the job done. Some students would even bring fake parents to a PTM, and not get caught!

#4 Chalk on Bata Shoes

We would whiten the living daylight out of the shoes until we got that perfect shine. And we were all walking around looking like we had done something illegal. That high you get after stealing chalk from the chalkboard can’t compare to anything. We were rebels at a time when we couldn’t do much. Mostly out of boredom!

#5 Ink on white shirts

Why did Ink pens bleed so much??!! This was the greatest mystery. Regardless of how carefully we would make sure that it was tightly closed, the ink would bleed out. This was also a huge mystery when we tried to put our pens in our pockets (to look cool), and then suddenly we would be walking around with a giant stain on our pristine white clothes. Ink on white shirts was the funniest thing ever, but not so much for our parents.

#6 Holiday Homework

I’m sure you remember the large volumes of holiday homework that you had to do when you were visiting your relatives. It was a pain! And now we miss it. What all drawings we used to make and try to imitate our favourite cartoons. We were so creatively stimulated back then, that it was crazy!
