In today’s competitive market, where advertisement and branding has taken over a major stake in the cost of a product, it won’t be a lie to say that coming up with a quirky Famous logos are a crucial part of marketing for every brand. Also, that kid appearing in every Parle -g packet is not a logo!! While we are able to identify most of the famous brands through their Famous logos, we have 6 awesome evolutions of some of these famous logos and yes, we have the famous brand apple in this list!!
Nike
Starting off the list we have the brand holding the “just do it “slogan, even though it is still a mystery for me what exactly they are asking their customer to do. Jokes apart, the “swoosh” logo of Nike is one of the most basic and iconic design of all time.
Designed by Carolyn Davidson, the logo incorporated Nike alongside the design.
For a short time, Nike placed their logo in red square and by 1995, Nike adopted their current logo, the lone swoosh, now considered to be the symbol of speed, athleticism and quality inn apparel design.
Mozilla Firefox
The browser noted for reliability and quality is quite famous for the distinctive look of its famous logo. Using phoenix as the very first Famous logos, Mozilla went into trouble with a company with name ‘phoenix’ trademarked. So much for trying to be cool without prior checks!!
After failing in securing the name ‘Firebird’, Mozilla finally found a logo to call their own, the famous Firefox in 2003. ‘Quite a catch for Mozilla’ I would like to say.
Disney
I believe almost every one of us had to watch a princess movie made under this famous production house. Disney started with the color-changing mickey mouse Famous logos while playing over the success of its famous creation, Mickey Mouse.
It changed its logo to Cinderella castle around 1995 and further modified it in the coming days by introducing the incredible detailing.
Adidas
Adidas, in beginning, just placed three black stripes on everything it manufactured. Taking that basic design, adidas introduced its Trefoil logo and finally modified it to its current three bars Famous logos resembling a mountain, challenging buyers to push themselves to limits. I don’t know how much of limits a 50-year old neighbourhood aunty can cross. Does anyone have an idea?
Mc Donald’s
What happens when old mc Donald leaves his farm?? He opens his own burger outlet! Mc Donald’s entered the market with “the winking Tubby chef” as the logo and later changed it to giant golden arches resembling the letter ‘M’.
Apple
At last we come down to the most awaited logo. The very first apple logo was introduced in1976 showing Isaac newton sitting under the tree which was later replaced by classic and world-renowned Famous logos of bitten apple. The grandiose use of colour evolved into flat colours as per the time.
The one idea that remained basic among all the Famous logos is simplicity of the design, the rest changed along with the evolving market. A great logo can establish brand identity and make it a status symbol for its customers e.g., Apple has played along in this sense collecting most kidneys in current period!!
