If you are a DC fan, there is no way you don’t love the infamous villain Joker. This iconic character is a super villain in the DC world and has troubled Batman since ages now. Joker was a character that was created by Bob Kane, Bill Finger and Jerry Robinson. Over the years, so many actors have played the role of Joker, but everyone will readily agree that nobody could have done it better than Heath Ledger. After his demise when Jared Leto took up the role for Suicide Squad, fans seemed to be really disappointed.

However, things just got better for all DC fans around the world when we all got to see the first look of Joaquin Phoenix as the new Joker, the old classic villain of the DC world. And we cannot keep calm! This is going to be a standalone JOker film, something fans have been waiting for since ages now. This film directed by Todd Phillips, of the Hangover fame took to Instagram oto share a post on 16th September where he revealed the first official look of the film. He wrote the caption as ‘Arthur’. This caption confirmed the theory that the character of Joker’s real name is Arthur Fleck.

According to reports by The Hollywood Reporter,  this film is not titled yet but it is apparently going to show us the journey of Arthur Fleck, who was a struggling stand up comedian early in his career and how he became the infamous but iconic villain. They described it as an “exploration of a man disregarded by society [that] is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale.”

In this film, fans can expect to see the origin story of Joker, more about his character development. A few days back, TMZ shared a video videos from the set of the movie where Phoenix can be seen walking around in his character and then starts interacting with a clown and even gets threatened by it. That is so creepy, but we are expecting to see a lot of it in the film.

Wait till October 4, 2019 to catch the film in theatres.
