5. Pangong Lake
Remember the last scene from the movie 3 Idiots? Yes, that very lake where Aamir Khan is seeing flying an airplane and teaching young kids, that’s Pangong Lake. It is located 160 kms from Leh Ladakh and is 7 km wide and 130 km in length. 3 idiots isn’t a reason to award 5th position on the list of Top 5 frozen lakes in India, but it’s because of the 7 variety of colors which you can see from different angles.
